Dr. Schrickel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of South Florida in 2018, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2020. She completed her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in June 2023.

During her pre-doctoral internship in Bradenton, Florida, Dr. Schrickel provided trauma-focused services to individuals of all ages at the Rape Crisis Center, specializing in issues related to sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and other traumatic life experiences.

For her post-doctoral residency, Dr. Schrickel worked at a group private practice in Lakeland, where she provided a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, family therapy, and marriage/relationship counseling. She also conducted comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients across the lifespan, offering valuable insights for treatment planning and support.
